Boca do Risco

Boca do Risco is a spectacular viewpoint on the northeastern coast of Madeira. It offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island's dramatic cliffs.

The approximately 10-kilometer-long trail leads through shady forests and open spaces along the cliffs, showcasing unique vegetation including ferns and other rare flora.

The route is considered easy to moderate, but requires caution due to steep sections and the lack of railings in some places. It is advisable to bring trekking poles for more stability.
