Viewpoint Meteora

Viewpoint Meteora is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in Greece. It offers breathtaking panoramas of unique rock formations and six historic monasteries perched on impressive cliffs.

It's a place where nature and history come together in an unusual way - the monasteries, built in the 14th-16th centuries by monks who used ropes and baskets to reach the peaks, have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.

The best vantage points are Psaropetra Lookout and Observation Deck 2 (Sunset Rock), especially magical during sunset.
