The Unification Palace is a historic symbol of Vietnam, formerly known as the Independence Palace. This imposing building was the seat of the President of South Vietnam and the site of the dramatic events of the end of the Vietnam War.

The palace's interiors retain their original 1960s decor, and beneath the building is a fascinating network of bunkers and corridors that served as a command center.
