Description

Amir Temur Square is the historic heart of Tashkent, where a majestic equestrian statue of the 14th-century conqueror towers over green avenues and fountains.

Designed in 1870 by Russian architects, the square has evolved from a military square to a symbol of national pride. At the base of the monument is the inscription 'Strength lies in justice' in four languages.

The iconic 30-meter clock tower from 1947 houses ethnographic collections, and its mechanism comes from Germany. Evening illuminations create a magical atmosphere.
