Doll Museum / Музей кукол

The Puppet Museum is a unique place combining an exhibition with a working workshop, where 17 craftsmen create traditional Uzbek theater puppets 40-50 cm tall. Each puppet is created through a complex process - 12 layers of papier-mâché on the head, three layers of watercolor, and varnishing.

Visitors can watch puppet shows, short performances, and participate in workshops. The collection features characters from satires, local portraits, mythology, and traditions such as a Bukhara wedding. Admission is free, and the puppets are available for purchase.
