Puffers Pond

Puffers Pond is the largest body of water in Amherst, offering the perfect place for summer relaxation. Here you'll find two beaches with available latrines during the summer season, a scenic waterfall and peaceful walking paths around the reservoir.

It's a nature lover's paradise - you can bird watch, fish or just relax on a blanket. The water can be cool at times, but it's a great opportunity to cool off on hot days.

You can also kayak or canoe (without motors), all without an entrance fee and surrounded by beautiful nature.
