Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a six-acre gem on the St. Johns River, designed by the famous Olmsted Brothers and dedicated in 1924 to the memory of 1,200 Floridians who died in World War I. The centerpiece is a bronze sculpture titled "Life" by Charles Adrian Pillars, surrounded by the widest stretch of the river with breathtaking views. The expansive lawns are perfect for picnics, yoga, or spontaneous games, and the walking paths attract runners and cyclists. Here you can fish, watch dolphins, and enjoy spectacular sunsets.
