Snow King Mountain

Snow King Mountain is Wyoming's first ski resort, founded in 1936 and known locally as 'The Town Hill'. It offers 41 ski trails on 500 acres, served by an eight-person gondola and seven lifts.

In winter, there are steep northern slopes, the Cowboy Coaster (an alpine coaster reaching 40 km/h) and a snow tubing park. In summer, there is an alpine slide (800 meters), a zip line (860 meters at a speed of 96 km/h), the Treetop Adventure rope park and mini golf.

At the summit, there is an astronomical observatory with a planetarium and the Aurora restaurant.
