Blackwell Forest Preserve is a sprawling 1,366-acre forest preserve in DuPage County, offering countless opportunities for outdoor recreation.
The hilly terrain with a variety of ecosystems - from oak and walnut forests to meadows and wetlands - attracts wildlife including turkeys, deer and bald eagles.
More than six miles of trails, Silver Lake with canoe and boat rentals, campgrounds with electricity and a special fenced dog run await. A unique attraction is McKee Marsh with observation platforms ideal for waterfowl viewing.
