Description
Grand Circus Park is a historic city park in the heart of Detroit that connects the theater district to the financial district. Established in 1850, it was intended to be a full circle, but eventually took on a crescent shape.
The park impresses with its beautiful gardens, historic fountains and statues of significant figures from the city's history, including Mayor William Cotter Maybury. Recently renovated, it offers new seating areas and a popular dog run.
It's the perfect place to relax before or after a theater performance, overlooking the Detroit Opera House.
