Ritz Theatre & Museum, Jacksonville

The Ritz Theatre & Museum in Jacksonville is a unique combination of a 426-seat theater and a museum covering over 1,000 m² that celebrates African American cultural heritage.

It is located in the historic LaVilla neighborhood, once known as the "Harlem of the South." The building impresses with its Art Deco and Mediterranean architecture from 1929.

The museum offers immersive exhibits with animatronic presentations, recreated 1920s interiors, and an exhibit dedicated to the civil rights movement.
