Description
Beta Project (Hubbard Street Murals) is one of the oldest and largest outdoor mural galleries in Chicago. Started in the 1970s by artist Richard Alonzo, the project showcases a variety of works by talented street art artists from around the world.
Murals are characterized by their ephemeral nature - they change over time as buildings are demolished or their owners change. This constant evolution means that each visit offers a new artistic experience.
As part of the B-Line art corridor in the Fulton Market neighborhood, the Beta Project is a fascinating part of Chicago's cultural landscape.
