Herron Park

Herron Park is a riverside oasis on the Roaring Fork River, dominated by an impressive sculpture imitating mountain rock formations—a natural climbing playground with nets, ladders, and two slides at different heights.

Shallow river pools with smooth stones create a safe space to play, and the shade of old poplars and aspens provides relief on summer days. The park is the starting point for the scenic Rio Grande Trail, connecting family recreation with a wider network of trails.
