National Trust - Buckland Abbey is a 700-year-old Cistercian abbey that was transformed into a Tudor estate. This historic treasure was home to the famous sailor Sir Francis Drake and houses legendary artifacts, including an original self-portrait by Rembrandt.
You'll be amazed by the medieval Great Barn, the chapel with its altar of monks and the magnificent Great Hall from the Tudor era.
