Description

Kedleston Hall is a neoclassical palace built between 1759 and 1765 for Sir Nathaniel Curzon as an impressive mansion to rival Chatsworth.

Designed by Robert Adam, it impresses with restored interiors that have been returned to their 18th-century splendor. The State Floor's representative rooms showcase master craftsmanship with original decor, gilded furniture and artwork.

The first floor houses one of the largest Asian collections in the Midlands. Surrounding the palace, the picturesque gardens with serpentine lakes provide the perfect setting for a stroll amidst history.
