Description
Torr Head is a scenic viewpoint on the Antrim coast in Northern Ireland, rising 67 meters above sea level.
The site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, particularly spectacular during sunrise and sunset.
It is not only a paradise for nature lovers and photographers, but also a place rich in history. An old coast guard station dating back to 1822 was used to monitor transatlantic ships and transmit information to Lloyds of London via wireless telegraph.
The surrounding area is an ideal place for hiking, wildlife watching and a moment's respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
