Dunrobin Castle

Dunrobin Castle is the largest house in the northern Highlands with 189 rooms, resembling a fairytale French castle. The medieval fortress from 1401 was transformed in the 19th century into a Scottish Baroque-style residence with towers reaching 40 meters.

The Versailles-inspired gardens delight with optical illusions, and the daily falconry displays with eagles and peregrine falcons are an unforgettable experience. The museum in the 18th-century summer cottage displays Pictish symbolic stones and local geological treasures.
