Union Oyster House

Union Oyster House is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in America, serving food since 1826 in an early 18th-century building.

The iconic semi-circular oyster bar remembers the days when Daniel Webster devoured six plates of oysters washed down with brandy here every day. Within these same walls, a revolutionary newspaper was printed, the Continental Army's paymaster was located, and JFK's table is on the upper floor.
