Twierdza Barone

The Barone Fortress is a historic fortress in Šibenik, built in 1646 as a defense against Ottoman attacks. After its renovation in 2016, it offers a modern augmented reality experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the history of the site.

The observation deck offers breathtaking views of the city and the archipelago. The fortress is part of Šibenik's defense system, and during the summer months it hosts cultural events, including a jazz festival and a summer cinema.

The site is also accessible to people with disabilities.
