Plac Bajazyda

Bayazid Square is a historical gem in the heart of Istanbul with roots dating back to the 4th century.

Originally known as the Tauri Forum, it became an important religious and cultural center of the Ottoman Empire after the conquest of Constantinople in 1453. It is dominated by the Beyazıt Mosque, completed in 1506, which is one of the oldest imperial mosques in the city.
