Atlas Cinemas

Atlas Cinemas is one of the oldest cinemas in Istanbul, operating since 1948. The building dates back to 1871 and boasts an impressive interior with gilded frames on plaster walls and hand-painted ceiling ornaments by a French artist.

The main auditorium designed as an amphitheater and a balcony converted into boxes with folding chairs provide a unique movie experience.

The cinema is part of the Istanbul Film Museum, which offers an augmented reality space, a collection of memories of Turkish cinema and much more for film lovers.
