Description
Dolmbahche Palace is a majestic architectural jewel on the banks of the Bosphorus, combining Neo-Baroque and Rococo styles.
Built between 1843 and 1856 on the orders of Sultan Abdülmecid I, it symbolizes the Ottoman Empire's transition to Western influence. The palace impresses with luxurious interiors featuring crystal chandeliers and exquisite furniture inspired by European royal residences.
It is not only the former seat of six sultans, but also the site of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's death in 1938. Take a guided tour to discover the fascinating history of this unique place.
