Description
Tuileries is one of the oldest and most famous gardens in the heart of Paris, stretching between the Louvre and the Place de la Concord.
Founded in 1564 for Catherine de Medici, it offers 23 hectares of French garden style with symmetrical alleys, fountains and numerous sculptures.
It's not only a place to relax, but also home to two museums: the Musée de l'Orangerie with paintings by Monet and the Jeu de Paume with photography exhibitions. There are playgrounds, merry-go-rounds and trampolines for children.
