Description
Treborth Botanic Garden is a unique botanical garden with more than 3,000 species of native and exotic plants.
It boasts a rich history dating back to the 1840s, when it was designed by Sir Joseph Paxton as Britannia Park.
The garden offers fascinating collections in six specialized greenhouses, including tropical, temperate, orchids and carnivorous plants. A special attraction is the Chinese Medicine Garden with its traditional wooden Moon Gate and unique Rhizotron for studying underground root systems.
