Guildhall

Guildhall is an impressive neo-Gothic building that is the cultural and administrative heart of Londonderry.

This historic gem impresses with 23 beautiful stained glass windows telling the history of the city and a clock modeled after London's Big Ben. Note the time capsule from 1887, the contents of which can be admired on the second floor.

Following a £9.5 million renovation, the Guildhall offers fascinating exhibitions, including a display on the colonization of Ulster and John Hume's peace prize collection. It's the perfect place for history and architecture lovers.
