Description
The Tower of Oradea's City Hall is a unique vantage point offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
Erected between 1902 and 1903, the 50-meter-high neoclassical-style tower hides a fascinating clock mechanism dating back to 1904 that plays the Iancu March every hour.
A climb of 250 stairs leads to three viewing levels, where you can admire the Crişul Repede River and the city center. On the top floor, a telescope awaits for closer observation of the area.
The tower bears traces of World War II shells, adding to its historic character.
