Description

Zirbenweg is a scenic hiking trail in the Tux Alps in Tyrol, leading through one of the oldest and largest limber forests in Europe. Some of the trees are over 700 years old!

The 7.7 km trail offers breathtaking views of the Inntal valley and the Karwendel mountains. The trail is relatively easy, with minimal elevation gain, making it ideal for families.

Along the way you can rest in the mountain huts of Boscheben Hütte and Tulfeinalm, enjoying local specialties. An additional attraction is Europe's highest botanical garden.
