Vereda do Larano

Vereda do Larano is a scenic hiking trail on the northeastern coast of Madeira. The roughly 9-kilometer route winds along spectacular cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

During the hike, you'll encounter lush vegetation, wildflowers and the Boca do Risco viewpoint, which is the real icing on the cake of this adventure.

The trail is relatively easy, with a total elevation of 250 meters, making it accessible to people of all fitness levels. It is best to go here early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
