Trail of Headlands

Trail of Headlands is a scenic walking trail of about 12-13 kilometers along the spectacular Algarve coastline.

The trail, which has an intermediate level of difficulty, leads through dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches and sea caves, offering breathtaking views that extend all the way to Sagres.

During your hike, you'll come across the 16th-century Torre da Lapa watchtower, which once protected the coast from pirates. It's a paradise for birders and photographers, where nature presents itself at its most beautiful.
