Description

Sveti Ilija Peak Trailhead is the highest peak on the Pelješac Peninsula, reaching 961 meters above sea level.

This challenging route offers unforgettable 360-degree views of the Dalmatian archipelago and, on sunny days, even parts of Italy and the surrounding islands.

The trail passes through ancient olive groves, vineyards and pine forests to the rocky terrain at the summit, where the remains of the 17th-century Chapel of St. Elijah are located.

The trail is marked with red and white signs, and during the hike you can rest at designated picnic areas with shaded tables.
