Stausee Dresdner Heide

Stausee Dresdner Heide is a picturesque reservoir located in the northeastern part of Dresden, in the heart of the protected landscape area of Dresdner Heide.

It's an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts - you'll find a variety of hiking and biking trails of varying difficulty.

Surrounded by lush vegetation, the pond was created by damming the Haarweidebach stream and is part of a larger forest complex that was protected in 1969.

Rest areas with benches and gazebos are placed along the trails, where you can recuperate while exploring the natural beauty of the Saxon countryside.
