Description
Slieve Meelmore is Northern Ireland's seventh highest mountain, rising to 680 meters. It forms part of the scenic Mourne Mountains range and is famous for the historic Mourne Wall stone wall that runs across its summit.
The hike up Slieve Meelmore is a challenge for mountain adventurers - the steep slopes and challenging trail, however, reward you with spectacular views. At the summit is a historic shelter, probably built for workers erecting the Mourne Wall.
The trail connects to other attractive peaks: Slieve Meelbeg and Slieve Bearnagh, creating an excellent option for a day's mountain exploration.
