Description

Rio Jimenoa is a picturesque area in the Dominican Republic, famous for its breathtaking waterfalls. Salto de Jimenoa Uno, 75 meters high, was immortalized in the first part of the movie Jurassic Park!

The steep trails leading to the waterfalls offer unforgettable views of lush forests and dramatic gorges. For adrenaline junkies, canoeing and rafting on the mountainous sections of the river are available.

Natural pools at the foot of the falls tempt a refreshing swim, though caution should be exercised due to strong currents. This is a paradise for photographers and wildlife lovers!
