Description
Höttinger trench or Höttinger Bach is a picturesque ravine and stream in Innsbruck, ideal for hikers.
This charming stream, taking its start at 1,100 meters above sea level below the Umbrückler Alp, forms a small gorge known as the 'Höttinger ditch'. The stream impresses with excellent A-class water quality along its entire length.
It's not only a great place for a walk, but also a starting point for further hikes, including the popular Höttinger Alm mountain hut or the Höttinger Bild chapel. Be sure to exercise caution during heavy rainfall, however, as the creek can quickly swell.
