Degollada de Cofete

Degollada de Cofete is a scenic hiking trail on Fuerteventura's Jandía Peninsula. This relatively easy trail leads through dry valleys with remnants of ancient settlements and impressive mountain formations.

The pass at 347 meters offers breathtaking views of the ocean, Cofete beach and the island's unique volcanic landscapes. The route is well marked and accessible to most hikers.

During the hike, you can admire the region's distinctive vegetation, including the iconic Cardon de Jandía cacti. The descent to Cofete beach is particularly scenic, with the path winding through a black and brown landscape.
