AMDTrail, Monte Solaro

AMDTrail, Monte Solaro is the highest point on the island of Capri, offering breathtaking 360-degree views.

From a height of 589 meters you can admire the Gulf of Naples, the Amalfi Coast and the famous Faraglioni rock formations. The place is known as a 'cloud catcher' due to its unique phenomenon, where the temperature difference between the sea and the rock creates a dense fog.

The summit can be reached by cable car (a 12-minute trip) or by hiking trail (about an hour's walk). Nearby is the 16th-century Erem of Santa Maria a Cetrella, where local sailors prayed for protection from going to sea.
