Znojmo underground

Znojmo underground is one of the largest underground labyrinths in Central Europe, stretching for more than 27 kilometers under the historic center of the city.

This fascinating network of corridors was established as early as the 14th century and served as cellars for food storage and shelter during wars. Visitors can choose between a classic route, showcasing the city's history, or an adrenaline-pumping expedition through narrow corridors and uneven staircases.

The 'Mysterious Underground' exhibition offers an encounter with an alchemist's workshop, live rocks, bats and gnomes, enhanced by light and sound effects.
