Description

The Ton Sai Waterfall is a captivating natural attraction in the heart of Phuket. Cascading streams of water running down rock terraces create crystal clear ponds, perfect for cooling off on hot days.

Surrounding the waterfall, a shady organic garden with trees over 100 years old creates a unique atmosphere of tranquility.

It's a nature lover's paradise - rare species of birds and plants can be seen here, including the unique white palm trees, which were first discovered right here in Thailand. Well-marked hiking trails lead to viewpoints offering breathtaking perspectives.

avatarChad Atwell3 months agoWe did the entire 2km loop and there are several areas where the trail is blocked by downed trees. If you’re not comfortable climbing over and crawling under obstacles, better to just go to the waterfall and turn back. But then you have to decide if 400 baht is worth the price. Very beautiful jungle area, and we saw a lot of exotic plants, insects and a couple monkeys.
avatarJoseph Tan3 weeks agoTonsai Waterfall is a peaceful spot tucked inside Khao Phra Thaeo National Park in Phuket. The walk to the waterfall is easy—just about 10 minutes from the entrance—and the trail is shaded by though some paths are not well maintained. The waterfall itself is small, so don’t expect anything dramatic, but the soothing sounds of water and buzzing insects make it feel close to nature. Entry is 200 baht for adults and 100 baht for kids. There aren’t many facilities—just restrooms and carpark, so bring your own snacks and water. Overall, a relaxing break from Phuket’s crowds, and the walk down can be a work out!
avatarKatrin6 months agoThis place is just beautiful and gives you the whole jungle experience! NOTE: WEAR THE PROPER CLOTHES AND TAKE REPELLENT! It’s a hiking trail and pretty tricky hiking trail. The whole path takes around 40 minutes (minus time for pics). You will also have to ford a river, so mind that! The entire costs 400 THB per person.
