Description
The Szepit Waterfall on the Hylaty Stream is the largest waterfall in the Bieszczady Mountains, reaching a height of about 8 meters. An interesting fact is that in the 1960s it was 'relocated' by the military during road construction - 30 meters higher than it was originally located!
It is accessible from the well-marked 'Hylaty' trail, which is about 10 km long and leads through picturesque countryside. Along the way, you can see the Boyko Cottage, the remains of a water mill and World War I trenches.
This is an ideal place for nature lovers, photographers and families looking for a quiet rest among Bieszczady landscapes.
