Tunel Grič

Tunel Grič is a fascinating underground corridor in the heart of Zagreb, originally built as an air raid shelter during World War II.

Today, this 350-meter-long tunnel connecting the upper and lower city has been transformed into a unique cultural space. Walking through its interior, you will discover interesting art installations and temporary exhibitions.

The tunnel is the perfect place to take refuge from the summer heat and learn about a piece of the city's history. In winter it delights with festive decor and music from the ballet 'The Nutcracker' during the Advent in the Tunnel event.
