Pigeon Towers

Pigeon Towers is a unique architectural attraction located in the Qatar Cultural Village in Doha. These cylindrical towers are a fascinating combination of traditional Qatari architecture and modern elements.

Historically, they were used to raise pigeons, which were prized both for meat and as a source of fertilizer. The structures, more than 18 meters high and made of clay, mud and wood, are stunning with decorative reliefs in geometric patterns.

They are best visited in the early morning or late afternoon, when the light casts a magical glow on their surface, creating ideal conditions for photography enthusiasts.
