Description
Heddon's Mouth is a picturesque valley in Exmoor National Park, offering one of the most beautiful walks in Britain.
The route along the Heddon River takes you through ancient woodland to a rocky beach, where you can admire some of the highest cliffs in England, built of 400-million-year-old Devonian sandstone.
Along the way you'll see a 19th-century limestone kiln restored by the National Trust and unique geological formations. The walk is relatively flat, accessible by all-terrain baby carriages, and there is a wild children's playground along the way.
