Estadio Centenario

Estadio Centenario is the only stadium in the world recognized by FIFA as a World Football Monument. Built in 1930 for the first World Cup, it impresses with its oval architecture and the Colombes stand commemorating Uruguay's Olympic gold medal.

The Football Museum in the Torre de los Homenajes tower displays replicas of the Jules Rimet Cup and memorabilia from Pelé and Maradona. The stadium can seat 60,000 fans and still hosts the most important matches in South American football.
