Description
Torreó de la Peça is a fascinating defensive bastion dating back to the 15th century, part of the former city walls of Calp. The name comes from the artillery cannon that protected the city from pirate attacks.
The tower has a unique stone and mortar construction - a conical base and a cylindrical top. At its base you can admire two antique English cannons from the 14th century.
It now houses the Museo del Coleccionismo with temporary exhibitions of public and private collections. It is an ideal place for history and architecture lovers, offering an unforgettable experience in a picturesque old town setting.
