Description
Torgauten fort is a fascinating World War II-era historical monument located in picturesque Gressvik, Norway.
Built in 1941 by German troops, the fort was part of the defense system of the western entrance to Oslofjorden. The structure impresses not only with its military history, but also with its unique architecture integrated into the natural landscape.
The hill on which the fort is located offers breathtaking views of Øyenkilen, Vesterelven and Oslofjorden. Preserved military installations, including cannons, command bunkers and a trench system, allow you to travel back in time and experience the atmosphere of the wartime past.
