Theatre Park

Theatre Park is a charming place in the heart of Rijeka, created in 1875 through land reclamation. Its most fascinating feature is its nine rose trees, each with a 'musical' or 'theatrical' name: Charleston, Hendel, Concerto, Concertino, Conductor, Solo, Prima ballerina, Maria Callas and Ballet.

The park has recently undergone reconstruction, which has restored its historic features in a classical and Art Nouveau style, enhanced with modern elements. It provides a tranquil oasis in the bustling city, ideal for relaxing after a performance at the nearby Croatian National Theater named after Ivan pl. Zajca.
