Description
The Ravine is a unique 90-acre woodland oasis in the heart of Central Park, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux.
This place delights with three picturesque waterfalls and a stream called the Loch (Scottish for 'lake'). Tall trees effectively cut off the view of the city skyline, creating a tranquil space inspired by the landscapes of the Adirondacks.
The historic stone arches of Glen Span and Huddlestone provide impressive entrances to this secluded corner. The abundance of flora and fauna makes this the perfect place for birdwatching and connecting with nature - a true escape from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
