Description

The Mawddach Trail is a scenic 15km trail along the Mawddach Estuary in Snowdonia National Park. The trail follows a former railroad line, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and diverse ecosystems.

The trail is accessible to all - walkers, cyclists and runners of all ages. The flat, well-maintained surface also makes it ideal for wheelchair users.

As you hike, you can admire the historic 1867 Barmouth Bridge, explore the abundance of wildlife in the Arthog Bog Preserve and learn about the region's Victorian heritage.
