Description
The Hallwyl Museum is a unique late 19th century palace that bears witness to the lives of the Swedish aristocracy.
Built between 1893 and 1898 for Counts Walther and Wilhelmina von Hallwyl, it impresses with the splendor of its Victorian-era interiors. More than 50,000 artifacts, including Dutch, Flemish, French and German paintings, make up an impressive collection of arts and crafts.
It's a fascinating journey back in time, where each room tells the story of the life of Stockholm's upper classes. The perfectly preserved interiors allow you to feel the atmosphere of bygone times and experience the lifestyle of the Swedish elite.
