Description
The Greeting to the Sun is a fascinating art installation in Zadar, consisting of 300 glass plates arranged in a 22-meter circle.
During the day it absorbs the sun's energy to turn into a spectacular light show after dark, which creates a magical atmosphere on the seaside promenade.
The installation symbolizes the solar system in proportional figures, and the names of all the patron saints of churches on the Zadar Peninsula are engraved on the perimeter of the main circle. It blends perfectly with the nearby Sea Organ, creating a multisensory experience combining light, sound and nature.
